I have a 04 super crew 4x4. It has develpoed a pop/thump when the truck goes side to side.Like when you turn a curve. If you bounce on the truck and make it go up/down no pop/thump. I have removed spare tire, jack from rear seat,. I have pulled,pushed, tuged on almost everything under the truck. any ideas??? again it only happens when the truck sways left and right. thanks

 

check the leaf spring if they are moving around, check the u bolt on the spring to see if there nice and tite

 

how do I tell if the leaf springs are loose? I will check the u bolts tonight

 

jack up the rear end and look down eather side of the leaf and see if they are even on both sides. and if not use a BFH and bang them back in to place. and then titen down the u bolts.
