Question Body Style Question...Need Help

Ok, so here's the background...I have a 2003 Supercrew FX4 Lariat. Yes an FX4 LARIAT...it has lariat stickers and lariat seats as well as other lariat stuff. But the prolem is...i have recently been told that there is no such thing as an FX4 Lariat. Now i know what i see and the factory stickers on my truck as well as the skid plates, rancho shocks, and other various FX4 parts....so can anyone and everyone enlighten me on their knowledge of an FX4 Lariat or why i would have the parts and stickers when there is "no such thing"

2001-2003 the FX4 Off Roaad Package was optional on the XLT and Lariat trim levels. For 2004+ models, FX4 became it's own trim level.

I have the same, 2003 Screw Lariat FX4, but removed the FX4 stickers.

Here's what it included:

FX4 OFF-ROAD EQUIPMENT GROUP (55R)
• P265/70R17 OWL all-terrain tires (incl. spare) (T5N)
NOTE: Optional LT265/70R17 OWL all-terrain tires (T5E) are recommended for demanding off-road usage
• 17" 5-spoke cast aluminum wheels (64F)– four with steel
spare.
• With two-tone exterior paint schemes: wheel lip moldings and
top cap are Dark Shadow Grey on XLT and Arizona Beige (AQ)
or Silver Metallic (YN) on Lariat
• Unique FX4 tape stripe
• Skid plates (fuel tank, transfer case and frame front cross member) (413)
• Heavy duty Rancho shock absorbers (68K)
• New “FX4 Off-Road” decal
• 3.55 Limited Slip axle; 3.73 Limited Slip axle on SuperCrew
• Stainless steel lug nuts
Exterior colors:
Optional Two-tone Paint combinations (954) are all combined with Dark Shadow Grey lower two-tone on XLT and Arizona Beige or Silver Metallic lower two-tone on Lariat (See Color and Trim chart for further details)
Restrictions:
• Requires V8 engine
• 4x4 only.
• Not available with Sport Group (94S/94T), Payload Group #3 (623) or 7700 lb. Payload Groups (627 and 628)

ok, so i know this sounds stupid..but if you get a 6" lift that will total about 8 or 9" due to the factory body lift right???

Basically it lifted the truck 6" higher than it came from the factory. That in addition to the larger tires---went from approx. 32" tires to 35" tires---puts the truck like 8" higher than factory.

3" larger diameter tires means half of that is below the rim to raise it up. So, yeah, like woody said, about 8" over stock.

FX4 is still a package as opposed to a trim level on the Super Duty trucks, correct?

2007 SD FX4 Yes, it's a package.
2008 SD FX4 is a trim level.
