Go ahead and change your oil. I changed mine at 800 and there was a bunch of metal shavings in the oil. There were some 1/16th-1/32 thick in the oil filter. My next OCI will be 3k and then I'll go to 5k.

 

I am almost to 1,000 miles now.

 

Bought mine in Feb 2006 and have 28,300 on it right now. I'd estimate that about 80% of that is highway miles though as I drive 45+ round trip to work everyday.

Truck is getting shipped to Hawaii in 2 weeks and I'll be there for the next 3 years, hoping that'll slow the miles down.
