After a little bit of searching today, would a 33x13.50 R20 work on the stock wheels?

Yes it will. AS claims that you can fit a 35" tire on the stock wheels with the 2.5" leveling kit (and possibly some minimal trimming).

I installed the 2.5 AS on mine with 20" wheels and 305 tires. After taking measurements in front of the rear tire and behind the front tire from the bottom of the fender to the ground, there was less than a 1/4 inch difference. I think it "appears" that the front is higher becuase the wheel well opening is larger in the fron than the rear. I have not measured the actual openings. Has anyone here?

After the install of the leveling kit, what tire and wheels are you running?
