Well, since you can't receive private messages for some reason, why not buy mine? Only 9,500 miles. ;-)

What part of Texas are you in?

No disadvantes at all, go get it. I hope your looking into a FX4 Luxury, great truck over all. Mine was 43,265 MSRP after X-plan it came out to 39,129 after tax it went up to 42,700. Then I gave 13,000 down with payments of 495 for 60 months with 0% APR.

I wouldn't pay more than $8k less than MSRP. These trucks are already done being built for 2007. People are paying $8-12k off MSRP right now. Or take the 0% interest and pay no more than $5k off MSRP. The 0% interest rate is probably better than taking the rebates if you are financing more than $20k.

04Lariat05kr, why would you put any money down and take the 0% interest rate? You can earn at least 5% in a CD on that $13k downpayment while paying 0%.

I would rather pay $495 a month than $711.67 a month.

The CD would only make $48 dollars a month are you going to pay the rest of my monthly? $168.67

No, you pay yourself with the interest from the CD AND the initial $13k you have. Every month, deplete the extra from the $13k account and you'll be ahead after the 5 years.

Why would you want to know that? How much you paid for the truck not including TT&L and trade would be more telling of the deal you got. I financed through my credit union when I purchased.

Truck stickered for $38,900 and I paid $26,500 before TT&L. Even with no money down and 5.85% APR for 60 months it comes out cheaper when you look at the interest I will pay if I take 60 months to pay it off.

EDIT: I'm assuming that your looking at the 0% financing versus mine...

Your counting the trade in for that 26,500, that's not fair!

Break it done for me:
MSRP
minus rebates
minus student discount
minus army discount
minus A-plan
anything else you did to that price
+plus tax
+finance charges

I got about $3,000 off sticker ($35,000 sticker) and 0% financing for 5 years. The first deal we came up with was about $5,000 off sticker, but at 5.something %. I should have fought to get it down lower but I just wanted the deal done, and they gave me a little more on my trade-in (2004 Ram) than I planned on getting, which then took another $1900 off the price.....I was planning on just breaking even on the Ram as I still owed a little on it. To back up a bit, I was also playing 2 local dealers against each other via e-mail and telephone for 2 days.

I will find my paper work and try to scan it, I have a feeling you don't believe me. When I bought this truck Jan 1st of this year all the dealers were adv. $10,000 to $12,000 off MSRP. I wanted them to honor my X-Plan plus those rebates, they didn't want to but I kept working them until I got down to $26,500. Let me see how well the paper work scans once I locate it.
