New SuperCrew owner....
After years of owning Chevy and Dodge trucks, I fell for the SuperCrew yesterday and brought it home. Somewhere in my area, a Dodge salesman is kicking himself for being lazy, but that's another story.
So last night I brought home a 2007 4x2 SuperCrew XLT 5.4L. I looked at the Lariat, but didn't NEED all the extras, and really didn't want any more chrome to clean than I got.
Mine is EXACTLY what I wanted option-wise and color-wise. Nothing more, nothing less. Power seat, power sliding rear window, power adj. pedals, parking sensor, towing package, and XLT package with cloth interior.
It HAD 3 miles on it when I test drove it. By actual delivery time, it had 127. Now it has 137 after I drove to work this morning.
So, yeah, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. So far, this truck is head and shoulders above the Dodge Ram I traded in as far as fit and finish and build quality.

Congrats I just bought my first SCREW and it is also the XLT with sunroof, nerf bars, rear slider, power seat, power pedals, 6 disc mp3. I don't like the leather seats when it's 132 degrees in my truck 4 months out of the year here. I love my truck...it's an '05 and had 4,000 miles on it when I got it. Couldn't ask for a better ride. I'm going to add the 2" leveling kit though because I like the stance of the FX4, but do not have the need four off roading.

Nice new girlfriend there. Now are you gonna go spend some money on her and show off your trophy GF to all your buddies?

Thank you all for the welcome. Yes, I think I finally made the right choice after years of buying "the other brand".
My plans aren't real elaborate, I like to keep my vehicles cleanly understated. The only plans right now are 20" wheels with black/dark grey centers and polished lip (I'm open to style suggestions if anyone has any - I like a spoked wheel, like a 5- or 6-spoke), lowering kit (probably a 2f-3r drop), and overhead DVD player.
Yes, I'm going to be showing off the new girlfriend soon enough. She's already displaced my 1996 Trans Am in the garage, which totally blew my wife's mind. LOL

We are channelling similar goals then, except I'm saving for a 30' Baja boat.
