Signed for 07 Lariat, need some feedback

Hello all, new to the group. I was reading posts here for over a week and finally took the plunge. I am waiting for the truck to come from Boston, I'm in Jersey. I got the Screw,5.4L, tri white, 4X4,hard top cover, leather, rear sensors, moonroof, 6 cd changer, heated seats, 10"dvd player and some other minor things. I financed for 60 months, 0 down, and I'm at $700 a month, no interest. I could have brought the payments down, but with no interest it didn't make sense. The total with tax was around $42K and change. Haven't gotten any buyers remorse yet, just wondering what people who have actually bought this truck think overall. Thanks

I know 700 a month is high, but in 5 years I will own and with no interest and no money down I felt it was better than leasing again. With leasing, I would be at 500+ a month a few grand out of pocket and in 3 years no car again. The options really drove up the price, it started at 35K, I also included the 3K in tax in the 42K total. The hardtop and dvd added almost 3K to it. I priced it out this way thru kbb.com and it was 39K+ without the tax. Still tme to cancel I think, so please, more feedback.

I'm not calling you out but your payments or your term are no where near what you say. 0% interest for 72 months for $40,000 is is $555.56. $40000 financed for 72 months with a rate of 14.99 (assuming zero down) is $845 a month. Now if $565 is your payment and your interest rate is 14.99%, than you only financed $27,000.

Don't stay out of it. Just wanted to make sure your math wasn't right or I'd be down there buying my next car.

You can't get a moonroof & the DVD (it's an 8 inch screen) in the same truck. You get one or the other.

You can get the in-dash DVD/Navigation & moonroof.

yes, I got the dealer add on 10" dvd, and I financed for 60 months, if you take no int, you only get the $545 rebate. So did I overpay? The hard top lid was $1250 painted.
