cop replaced can someone chime in please!!

hi,
2007 5.4
i felt i had a misfire, took it to ford dealer.
they replaced #5 cop.
after this i felt it had a totaly different miss, they told me after all checks again, cant find reason .
they called ford , ford asked if it had an aftermarket exhaust on it and they told ford no.
they knew i did, not that that matters ? ford says if it did could be less back pressure . ford cop out ????? lol
my real question is , if they had to replace # 5 cop would you think # 5 plug could be fouled from not firing for some period of time ??????
need to find real reason not fords bs

Yes it very well could foul a plug by a COP going bad. I always put a plug in when I do a COP.

thank you shane,
i felt the same way , im wondering why the dealer didnt think that way also.
i guess i need to change it out myself to try to see if thats it, as the dealer seems to want to say they have exhausted their checks .
the miss is enough to feel in the passenger seat, so i know its somthing that needs to be found.

Damn, this is the first'06 or '07 I've read of with COP issues. I was hoping maybe it wasn't an issue as of the past couple of years.
