Morning gang,

Just bought a 2001 f150 crew that has signal lights in the mirrors. Separate red lens on the end of mirror assy.

How do I get to it?

tilt your mirror all the way down, get a long flat screwdriver and push the 2 tabs at the top to release the cover. the cover will then tilt away from the housing. the bottom part is just sitting in the slots at the bottom so all you have to do is remove it. easy.

I'm at work so I ran out there and put the mirror down... These tabs hold the whole front cover of the mirror assy?

I'll be gentle and try the tabs I see.... thanks again.
