Seatbelt noise

I know this has probably been asked a thousand times but is there anyway to turn off that god forsaken seat belt noise in a 2006 supercrew. I put a heavy bag in the passenger seat and have to slam the the brakes to make it fall on the floor to make the seatbelt noise stop. Any way to turn it off???

OK, I guess I will start by saying "wear the seatbelt" But I know some people don't like to.

You could run to a local junkyard and find a ford and simply cut the seatbelt and take the part that snaps into the seat belt locking portion and keep it installed there full time and the "sensor" will think you have the seatbelt on!

Stay Safe!

Check your owner's manual.....it's in there.

I just did it the other day. It is in the manual, and it's some ridiculous procedure that involves buckling and unbuckling your seatbelt 9 times in a row. Have fun..
