new here. on my 2nd screw f150 also used to own a f250 crew.
my new one:
09
lariat plus
everything except the sunroof
bought it last week, list was $43k, drive off was $31k (including ttl). also got them to throw in a free rhino liner and dvd player (for the kids).
my first was an 01 screw and i loved it, traded it on an f250 which i drove for a few years. made the mistake of owning a chevy the past few years, thank God im done with that beater.
so far i love my new one..not crazy about the headrests (i see thats a common complaint) but otherwise its awesome.

Mine is a 2008 lariat supercrew. It is loaded up reverse camera, moonroof, power slider, heated seats etc. Sticker was close to 45,000 then we added factory navigation 2,400 installed (wouldn't do it again, rather have after market with more goodies at a lower cost). After factory rebates and dealer discounts and 15,000 2005 supercrew xlt trade in the difference was about 21000 plus taxes.

09 FX4 Blue Flame/Charcoal 6.5 ft bed
Lux Package
Reverse Camera
Max Tow
Sony Audio system
Bedside Steps
Fold A Cover G4
Color Matched LineX
had 2100 miles on it when I got it
MSRP was 43200 IIRC before the cover and bedliner
I paid 32900 for it so I feel I did pretty decent considering it was basically a new truck

Now what do I do.....?
Had just finished the purchase for my wife's Expy after an accident had totaled her previous one (not her fault) and saw a used '01 SCREW on a consignment lot. I was NOT looking to buy it. The price on the window was $13,300. I decided to ask for a test ride, the lot owner gave me the key and my son and I took it out for about an hour. Nice truck, very well cared for and everything worked. I was the Lariat and had everything i wanted except the moonroof.
Well, on the way back, we concluded that I really wasn't in the market and couldn't buy a second rig, BUT we didn't want to just say thanks but no thanks and walk away. We decided to offer a lowball price and then we could walk when it was refused. I went into the office and said, "yah, yah, yah, but I think I could pay $4500."
Well, the old man says the owner will never go for it but decides to call him anyway. When he states the amount of my offer, I hear the owner over the phone scream, "TAKE IT"
And that is how I bought 2 trucks in one day and got my SCREW for only $4500.
