What looks better on a SCREW.... 6.5 or 5.5??

Sometimes I'll catch my truck at just the right angle and think to myself, geez that bed looks really short for the size of the truck (I have the 5.5' bed). Then other times I'll see a truck with the 6.5' bed and think to myself, geez the bed of that truck is huge.
Personally I think the 5.5' bed looks better, but it's not like a real glaring differnece. It really comes down to what you're buying the truck for. Myself I don't do a lot of hauling huge items so the 5.5' bed fits my needs perfectly. You may need the 6.5' bed to haul bigger items. Get the truck to fit your needs and you'll be happy with your decisiuon.

I agree with the 6.5' crowd. Mine has the 5.5' since it's an 04 and the 6.5' wasn't an option then but there have been many times I've wished I had the 6.5'. I think the 6.5 makes it look more like a truck. My neighbor has an Explorer Sport Trac and it's scary how my truck looks like the supersize version of it!

i would say that i have to agree..... on a lowered truck the 6.5 looks weird, but other than that IMO the 6.5 looks way better.
Does a 4x4 SCREW sit higher off of the ground than a 4x2??
In the pic above this looks like a 4x2 (it doesn't have the decals) and it looks a little lower than normal.

Had Both
I've had both the 5.5 and now the 6.5. I got by with the 5.5 and bed extender, and hauled my big Arctic Cat 500 regularly. The truck really looked good with the short bed - had a really nice stance.
I thought long and hard over the 6.5 for my new truck. Decided to go with the 6.5 for the extra utility - now I have a full-size UWS tool box and can still haul my Cat. I have the bed extender in my new truck, too.
I was afraid it wouldn't go through the car wash, and would hang out of parking spaces, but it works in both cases. I've become accustomed to the looks, too. Seeing Welcome's picture above though, I must say that these long trucks seem to look best in white for some reason. That's a nice truck!

5.5 ft might look bit better, easier to park at parking lots, still pain compared to my Accord. However, I sorely missed my previous F150 supercab with 6.5 bed. Fits my ATV with tailgate closed, most of all camping out in back of my shell bed during scouting trips. My 6'4" can hardly camp out on my current 5.5 bed with shell closed to keep warmth inside. My next F150 will surely be supercrew with 6.5 bed, hopefully with 25-30 mpg average.
