My new SuperCrew and Dad's SuperCab.

So me and my Dad decided to go look at trucks last night. We ended up coming out of the dealership with these two beauties.

Mine is a 2007 SuperCrew with the 6.5' bed. 5.4 w/ Tow package. Super Metallic. I paid $31k, is that about average?

My Dad's is a 2007 SuperCab w/ 4.6 and the tow package. He paid $29k, it has a few more options than mine, 6 dish in dash, adjustable pedals, keyless entry, sliding overhead console.

Ford does it right again with their F series. These things are both as smooth as can be. I have not had to go over 2,000rpm and it has had plenty of power. I just wish I had the same wheels as my Dad's truck, I am not too big on mine, but they are not bad at all. Now I need a bed liner and cover.

Congrats on the new trucks! I bet you and your Dad made the salesman's week. Anyway, they both look good - if you don't like the wheels, you can always get different ones. You"ll have it "your way" in no time.

Was that out the door prices? I paid $26,500 for my FX4 SuperCrew with 5.4L tow pkg etc... Sticker on it was around $38,900 I think. Great looking trucks by the way!!!

Nice ride's

You could always swap out your wheels with your Dad's wheels. A little cash and his favorite drink might just due it Or just borrow them for 30 days to see if you like them.

So do you two have a side bet to see who gets to 1K first
