Thats more like it. My 2001 Screw has 113000 on it. It is still a very nice truck and I am proud of it.

And when I bought it it had 42000 on it.

Meh. I've had my '07 for exactly a month as of today and I already have just over 2500 miles. I'll have 40K on it by the time it's 1.5 years old. That is, unless I actually get off my *** and pick up a car for my work commute.

Yeah my '01 Supercrew has 145,000 on it. I plan to keep this one for a LONG time. Plan is to give it to the boy in 5 yrs when he turns 16. If gas isn't $5-$6/gal. by then!!!! And if it is, I will keep it and get him a ranger. lol

I've driven full size trucks for a long time now so I know what to expect and hardly ever complain about gas prices or mpg. I just stopped even looking at the prices anymore....pull right up, swipe the card, fill up and leave. Of course, then I wonder why my gas credit card bill is higher than my car payment bill every month.....lol. At least the F-150 takes regular. My Ram took mid-grade. Of course, the F-150 tank is 4 gallons larger so each fillup costs about the same...I just get an extra trip to work out of each tank.

I think I may keep my eyes open for a couple of year old Focus or something similar for my work commute. It would sure be nice drivng something I really don't care much about, not being **** about keeping it clean, not freaking out over road rash, scratches, etc. Not to mention, keeping the miles off the truck and saving some gas.

I've got 135K on my 2001 Super and it still runs like a dream. I use it mostly for hunting, carrying the dogs, and pulling my camper

I do, however, have a '91 Jeep Cherokee for a daily driver that's just shy of 200K that also runs darn near perfectly.

It's all in how you treat them....

The Jeep 4.0 is definitely one of those "run forever" motors if you give it basic care. The XJ Cherokee with the 4.0 is probably the best SUV Jeep has ever made. Much less problems than the ZJ/WJ Grand Cherokees made in the same era, still plenty of them on the road running great with 200+K on them, simple and cheap to fix/maintain, etc. Great little trucks.
