Question 2000 Super Crew thoughts?

A local dealer has a 2000 SuperCrew listed on it's web site and I'm trying to decide if I want/need to look into trading (I'd like the four doors). Are there any issues/problems that anyone knows about with that year's model?

I haven'y had any major problems with my 2000 Supercab Offroad. Other than lower ball joints at 60k miles. It's at 72k now and runs like a champ.

Supercrew came out as a 2001 model. Build date may be 2000 and if the dealer tells you it is a 2000 model then they don't know what they are talking about and you should beware. There are three generations of the 2001.

I loved mine and had no real problems, only the A/C leaked and drove it for 74000 miles. I hope it has the 5.4 in it. Any other info?

Good luck...

RIght, there is no such thing as a 2000 Supercrew. 2001 was the first year.
