Does anyone have a picture of this combination? I would like to see how it looks before making my decision between black and chrome. Thanks guys.

IMO, if you have black wheels, then black nerf bars would look good. If you have chrome/polished wheels, then I think chrome nerf bars would look good.
IMO, kinda balances out the look.

Yeah I think I have what you want. I'll get a picture tomorrow and post up.

 

I haven't out how to upload pics to this site yet so I'll have to provide a link instead. Even if you just had grey and no darker tone on the bottom, I think it would still look good. I took a chance at going with black and now I'm glad I did. Hope this helps in your decision making.

Don't get black steps. They all rust quickly becuase the paint gets shipped from rocks and sand. I am very happy with my Westim Chrome Plated Stainless.

 

Well besides this truck, i have a '97 F-150 as a work truck which has black nerf bars. It sees nothing but dirt road all day long. I have never seen rust specks or anything like that on it. Now we don't do rock climbing in that truck so we don't worry much about those kind of dents. At least the black ones are repaintable. Ever seen dented chrome? It doesn't look much better than if it were brand new.

 

I appreciate the pictures. I am still leaning more towards the black bars.

 

go for the black nerfs.

 

Mine is gold with black nerf bars and I like the combination.

 

Must be all the salt we use on the roads around here, then.
