I have all manual switches in my truck, i have seen some newer f150's, pre04, with digital climate control... Is that stock? Can I convert mine to that???

 

I was wondering the same thing, maybe the Lincoln Mark equipment will work. Maybe its available on the upper models like the king ranch and harley. Imma ask the dealer if I can remember tomorrow.

I use to own a 2002 lariat with the fx4 package it was available in either one or both packages.

 

It was standard on 2002+ Lariat and KR trim levels. I don't know if you can swap it for the manual controls. I don't know where the temp sensors are that the automatic HVAC needs.

 

Someone else investigated this on the **LATE** model. To my recollection -- and you may try to search the thread out of the stack here -- it was next to impossible to upgrade the late models. Obviously, for the right amount of $, anything can be done but, I seem to recall that it was WAY difficult and kind of pricey, as such.

Now, as for the 04+ (current model), not sure.
