New

Just wanted to stop in an say hello. I just purchased a 2003 Supercrew and love it so far. Although, I did find out the passenger side rear door actuator didn't work, so the dealer is taking care of it. I look forward to the information that this forum can provide.

It is a silver, 2x4 xlt with the 5.4 V8. As far as mods go, I plan on adding the westin nerf bars first, bug shield, and spray on liner. While doing that, upgrade the stereo. That will probably be all. No major plans for engine modifications as of yet.

Welcome! Put some pics in your gallery when you get a chance. Hope the truck turns out to be a good one. You may want the Westins but if you want the same type and save some money, a lot of us bought from this place www.truckparts411.com. Mine were $180 delivered and they turned out just fine. Pic is in my gallery.

Is that the guy that sells the on ebay? They are S.S.? I thought about going with those if it is, but didn't want something that would fall apart quickly.

I have no idea if they are on ebay. I found them on the internet and they have been great. I recommended them to others and they all seem to be satisfied. They are polished stainless steel. The only negative I had was that the mounting instructions were pretty vague, but since they are not too complicated, it went ok. Mine still look great after several months, don't know why they would not hold up as well as any others.

Welcome! Good year truck too!
I got my chrome step/nerf bars from www.truckaccessoriesworld.com
They bolted up nicely. Took about 45 minutes for install

Hey Patrick
Funny you should mention the grille. I was gonna post that you couldn't have his (Crut's) grille
Glad to hear you are making progress. What are you doing with the grilles again? Making a honeycomb w/out the emblem?

Thanks for all the replies. Patman your sub box looks great. I did a similar set up on a '03 supercrew a few years back. Except we relocated a seat to the middle and made two boxes on each side to house Kicker L7's. It looked like a throne when we were done. I'll see if I can dig up some pics.
