Bed liner/rhino liner/bed mat

Hi guys,

Just bought an 07 King Ranch. Well, now I want to protect my baby and keep her gorgeous for years. On my old truck, I had a thick nitril rubber mat. It was great and sticky. However, it only kept things from sliding and from protecting the floor of the box. I want to also protect the sides of the box as well. The spray on liner is an attractive option because it protects the whole box, however, it seems scratchy and not very sticky. So I was thinking of doing a spray on liner, but then using a fitted rubber pad for the floor. I like the idea of poly bed liner, however I used to have one of those as well and they tend to be very slippery and also moisture can get trapped under them.

Any suggestions?

Also, wondering about soft bed covers. I like the Access brand covers, however I'd like to get the cover to match the Pueblo Gold (the second/bottom tone). Anyone know if these can be had in that color?

I have heard that the Rhino Liner is softer than the Line-X and things won't slide around to much. The Line X looks alot better but things tend to slide more. I personaly have the line X and it is top notch

Congrats on the new truck. I was reading the threads on your decision process. Hope you are happy with your choice. I have a 2007 Lariat on order. I got mine with a bed rug. I was leaning toward a spray on but found some threads on this site about bed rugs and thought I'd give it a try. Here is a link to the bedrug site.

I got mine direct from Ford. I think the only diff is the Ford one has the Ford logo instead of the Bedrug logo.

Please post some pics when you get time.

Wow, I had heard about that type of liner but was very unconvinced. Just watched the video and it sounds quite promising. Plus, it's nice because you can sit/lay back there comfortably. Also, crawling around won't hurt the knees (I can vouch that crawling around in the bed of a pickup can hurt the knees). Also, when hauling around fragile items it would be very nice to essentially cushion them. Interesting choice...

Any idea on how much they go for?

King Ranch Roll Up Cover

Anyone know if you can buy a roll up cover that (like an Access brand roll up cover) that would match the King Ranch's color. Most trucks black looks nice on, however I thought it would be nice to match the lower tone color (Pueblo Gold). Anyone know if this is possible? Thanks

Here is a site where they go for $349.

I think the list price on the Ford rug was a little more.

Very cool. Not a bad price for a quality bed liner. On Saturday we're taking the truck in the under carriage coating. When I'm there I'm going to ask if they have an accessory booklet with tonneau covers and liners.

Actually I disagree. They are intended to work, haul, tow, essentially move things. But is it such a crime for them to look good in the process? This is the classic argument of form or function, and I for one am like you and believe function always comes first. But why not also take into consideration form (ie: looks and cosmetics). When you build a truck there are certain things they all require and I don't feel it's wrong to incorporate good looks into the normal parts (wheels, coloring, interior)... just my two cents.

That is what I thought when I first saw it. I was comparing drop-ins to sprayon's. But I saw something on this site about the bedrug and when I looked into it it seems to be able to handle anything you throw at it. When my truck comes in I'll see if I made a mistake or not.

the only reason im going to go with line x is ,
i have always been of the thought that if you put somthing in there that can allow moisture to build up under then your lookin for trouble later down the road . but then again i have no clue lol and have no clue how long it would take to rust out one of these beds below.
and yes a truck is a truck
