I think the list price on the Ford rug was a little more.
That's a pretty good deal. Reading Bedrug's ads it sounds to me like they typically go for the ~$500 range. I'm currently leaning this route because it protects the bed even in harsh conditions but at the same time also adds more functionality to the bed. I can appreciate the attraction to being able to throw fragile items into the bed without worrying (electronics, guns, ...) and also how nice it would be for tailgating/camping/trips/grilling...

Talking About the cover...

Truxedo Lo Pro is an excellent product, comes in different colors and the Buckskin may be a close match.

Check it out here:

That's awesome, thanks for the info. I'm going to keep looking at it, but I think it may be a damned near match. Thanks again

UPDATE: According to their FAQ (http://www.truxedo.com/lopro/faq.html) they will send out a sample of the material if you're interested in the color matching your truck.

Just found a rock bottom price on the Bedrug:

http://www.surplusequipment.com/Stor...StoreCode&SNo=

$288 w/ free shipping (and depending on state, no tax). I'm very tempted to pick one up while that deal lasts...

I just came across a liner called DualComp, looks pretty cool. Here's a link to the product:

http://www.pickupspecialties.com/Dua...k_bedliner.htm

Check out the installation video. The sound quality is poor but the point gets across clearly that it's easy to install and a nice compromise between a hard liner and a rubber mat.

What do you guys think of it?

BED RUG RULES!!!!
I have had the Bed Rug in my past two trucks and I absolutely love it. It does not stain and I get it pretty dirty with 2 stroke oil from my dirt bike. Everything washes right out, its amaizing. It's so, so, so comfortable, I have fallen asleep in the back of my truck many times. It's made of plastic, but feels like actual carpet. I have friends with spray on liners, and I will never, ever, go that route. Thats only my opinion though, not trying to say spray ons are not good.

hey sikryd,

do you have to remove your tie down hooks to install it?

Yup, the tie downs have to come off, but then you poke holes in the bedrug and bolt them back in place so you can still use them.

When I go to their site it is showing $349 shipped. Am I missing something, or did the sale go away?

I know many people like the rhino liners and line x. My father in law loves his line x. It is too rough to me and thin at the same time. I have a REFLEX LINER, this is 1/4 inch think and very durable while not hard as a rock. It has been in the truck over a year and has not faded at all like the line x has done on other trucks I have seen. I do not see antone talking about these liners so I just thought I would mention them.

I just got Line-X put in my truck and I love it. My dad drives a new F-250 King Ranch with the Line-X liner and he loves it. My grandfather has a 2004 F-150 with a Rhino liner and while he likes it he has said that he prefers the Line-X liner. Its true that the Line-X is a bit slicker but it still does a great job holding things in place. (and it looks better) All in all it is a much better liner.
