Bought a new 2007 King Ranch

Hi all,

Well we decided on a 2007 King Ranch. We went to the dealership originally hoping to find a 2006 XLT but I was afraid that I would eventually decide that I couldn't get comfortable with the seats (because of the lack of positions and what not). So we asked for either an XLT, Lariat, or FX4 with power seats. Well, they found us a FX4 to try out with power seats, but only the driver side had power seats, plus we weren't thrilled on the color.

So we decided to try out luck at another dealership. Same thing: our perfect truck was nowhere to be found. We had that dealership do a dealer search with a 500 mile radius. Finally, they found our perfect truck, and we agreed to purchase it. But just a few minutes later, it was sold. They had a hard time finding us another truck. So I asked him about his 2007 vehicle stock and there was one Lariat, two King Ranches, and an XLT that fit the bill. After lots of hagling and fandangling we got the King Ranch down to 36K, plus they gave us 2.5K more for our trade in that KBB had it listed for. So we were comfortable with the price and went for it.

It's a 2007 King Ranch. Copper color with light tan (pueblo sand I think) two tone, Costano leather, power heated seats, electric adjustable foot pedals, 6 disc MP3 CD player, Sirius radio w/ 6 months free service, 18" KR wheels, 275 tires, rear backup sensors, and a bunch more. It's pretty sweet. The overall quality is tops, the mechanics leave nothing to be desired. It's a great truck with great features.

It's was a little frivolous but my wife and I were happy with it and both decided to go with it.

Ask away with your questions!

sounds like an awesome truck!! Is it a 2wd or a 4wd?

I just bought an 06 XLT in May and I see what you mean by the seats. But with the KR package you get way more than just nice seats!!

goodluck with the truck.

Congrats on the new truck! Can't wait to see the pics. My buddy and I were looking at an F250 PSD KRanch.......we really liked the Copper Clearcoat color and the color coordinated leather seats. I'm sure your ride looks sweet
