Has anyone had the chrome looking cap come off the top of the automatic transmission floor shifter? Mine has, without it the shifter will not shift. I currently have the plastic piece taped into place. Is there a fix for this problem? Is this a dealership item only? Need some help on finding a permant fix that look right. Is there an aftermarket shifter (shifter ****) that will work on our trucks?
