Door switch sticks, dome light stays on.

my truck has this problem just about the time it starts getting cold each year... I shut the door and the dome light will stay on for quite some time, i have tried to spray oil in it, but not knowing where it is makes that kind of difficult... Where exactly is this switch to sense when the door is open/shut?

Its in the door latch itself in the bottom... It will be easier to access with the rear window channell/run out...
