Thanks to you

I've been lurking for the last couple of weeks in this forum because I was seriously thinking about dropping my current vehicle (04 envoy xuv) and wanted a truck. After reading all of the forums I found a posting on the x-plans, and my decision was made.

I picked up my new 06 s-crew xlt Wednesday @ about 8K off sticker with a 1.9 rate, all my favorite bells & whistles, and a line-x scheduled for Tuesday. That night I drove it from STL to Chicago for T day and couldn't be happier.

Thankls to you for having the forum, and for all the great advice!

Way to go! Gotta love X-plan pricing, I got my 05 with all current incentives too back then and walked out with a great deal too. Welcome to the site. It's a good one.

You just got done buying the truck, be ready to buy the typical edge, airforce, magnaflow, and either lift or lower....

yeah, I know... I'm trying to decide what I want to do first. I need to get seom tinting done on the front windows, want to add some mudflaps and replace teh stock gas cover, etc. I want to get a better sound too- It sounds ok now, but it just doesn't sound like a v8. I'm concerned about the warranty though. Any suggestions?

well your gonna have a million different responses but most are going to boil down to Magnaflow vs Flowmaster. I personally wanted a nicer exaust sound, without the 250$ bill, just for the muffler alone. I went with a Dynomax Bullet 12" core 16" overall (i think those are the measurements) Anyways they go for about 55-60 new and i picked mine up for 20 bucks used.... There is a picture and a sound clip in my signature.
