How do i remove the Front logo? Its an 07 (assuming the same as 05 and 06.

I got the 2 nuts removed but how do i get it off? Seems like i have to slide it through 2 tracks to free the side pins.....but i cant slide it because of the middle pin through a single hole, not a track.

 

Well, if my 04 is anything like your 07 (which I assume it is), I just removed mine with the grill off and it wasn't easy. After you remove the 2 nuts, the 'prongs' are still pinched between 2 pieces of plastic - these need pryed apart to allow the 'prongs' to slide out. The middle 'prong' is not pinched at all and holds nothing.

Only way I could get it was to pry the plastic apart, while at the same time shoving a screwdriver behind the emblem to force it off.

It's way over-engineered, I'd say....even the emblem is 'Ford-Tuff' (to remove).

 

What you just said makes complete sense. I can't belive these guys made it so hard to get it off! I was thinking about prying the plastic apart like you said, seems easier than what i was going to do.

I was going to dremel down that middle prong so i can slide the other prongs over to the open part of the track, pull one side out, then do the other side.
