Need E-fan help, Troyer wont help
Hey guys, I bought the Troyer 16'' dual fan kit from another member on the boards awhile back. He neglected to include the specific Troyer instructions. I have called and emailed Troyer for a copy of the instructions (even offered to pay for them) and yet they have not responded. So, does anybody have the instructions ? I will certainly pay for the mailing. Thanks

Where are you at Drk?? I'm from the 314 area myself, down in South County actually. Out in Columbia, MO now.

Sweet! I actually sold my '91 5.0 to get my SCrew. I seem to get into a lot less trouble in my truck compared to my 'Stang.
Welcome to the boards bro!

The instructions have been faxed over, you should have them by now.
I would also recommend removing the radiator, it is much easier to install the fans with it out then trying to install them with it in the truck.
Also the instructions recommend splicing into the A/C compressor circuit in the fuse box on the drivers side. An easier method is to splice into the pressure switch on the accumlator on the passenger side of the firewall.
Good luck

BS.......I find this hard to believe...Who did you talk to when you called the shop????
Marc,
I believe she said her name was Anita. I honestly cant remember the name but I did call their direct no. I explained what happened. She even confirmed the name of the guy I bought them from. She said she didnt know if she could send them to me (never said why exactly) I asked if she could fax and she said no (said it was too big to fax) She said she would call back if she could help (that was Monday, no call as of today) Doesnt matter anyway... GymRat was able to help. Thanks

I've never bought anything from Troyer before, but I've heard too much good stuff from other members about 'em on here. I can't imagine that they'd give you the cold shoulder, but I guess everyone has their days.
