Electrical Problem

My 2001 F150 had all power go out as soon as I turned it off in the garage last night. There were no interior lights or anything else with power. I opened the door and then everything turned back on. When I went back to the truck this morning, it was dead. The battery is charged (12.7 V), but all the power is still out. The connections are clean on the battery terminals. I read that there were some fuses behind the battery, so I took the battery out and found a sealed box. My guess is that it is not a fuse box but rather a solenoid of some type. If this was bad, wouldn't I still have interior power? Is there a main breaker between the battery and everything else? Anyone have an idea on where to go from here? I only have the manual the truck came with, so I do not have a good schematic to trace things logically.

i'm probably not going to be of much help, but are the terminals tightened down properly? I used to own a Chebby that randomly decided not to start. Come to find out the positive terminal was slightly loose. After tightening, never had any more problems starting.
