Changing Plugs..

I've done a search on 'how to change plugs', but none of the results were on the 5.4L engines. My question is, does any know of a good link or thread where it spells out how to change your spark plugs? Also, what do you guys recommend for brands/types of replacement plugs? Thanks.

I used a post w/ good directions on the plug change a few months back on my '01. Can't remember where I found it exactly, it was on this forum. Biggest hint is a great selection of 1/4 in. swivels & extentions. 1/2 in., 1 in.,
2in., 3 in, 6 in. extention lengths are handy. Also a 7mm 12 point 1/4 in swivel socket is helpful, if it doesn't break on the 2nd bolt as mine did. Craftsman.
Wash, clean, dry or at least blow off the dirt from the plug caps. Compressed air is handy to blow the dirt & grit out from around the plug after you get the cap off. Many will advise not to wash a Ford engine, so that's up to you. Oh, get some plug cap pliers to get the stuck one's off.
Stick w/ the Ford plug to prevent other problems from occurring as you will not want to do the job again.
It took me about 2 hours w/ a few breaks for a cold drink & parenting duty.
Search a little more or maybe someone will tell where the post is.
Good luck
