What are the 06 Supercrew Lariats going for $$$ wise? I have a loaded 03 Lariat with a ARE cap plus rear sway and Eidelbach shocks and it may be time to trade it in. I went to the Milwaukee auto show yesterday and a Ford rep mentioned that Ford likely will be putting a 6 speed auto in the 07 Supercrew. I guess the new Expedition has the 6 speed auto and that is the one going in the Screw. Would you guys wait for the 07 with the new tranny or go with an 06? It would be nice to have the 6 speed tranny if it is reliable and improves the mileage. Thanks.

 

I didnt think ford was moving to a 6 speed for the F150 in 07.

I talked to a Ford Rep that was at the Milwaukee auto show. I was looking at a Supercrew Lariat and talking to a salesman and the rep heard me say that I would like a new Supercrew but the mileage was holding me back. He came over and mentioned that a 6 speed auto was a possibility for 07 and that the F150 would realize a few more MPG's out of the new auto. It makes sense to me because Ford has got to update something on the F150 to compete next year with GM's and toyotas new pickups.

 

Well 2007 models are around the corner so wait it out a bit.

 

I think I am going to wait it out and see if anyone else hears something.
