Torsion bars adjustment help/ suggestions
Torsion bars adjustment help/ suggestions
Okay ... on my 02 Screw 4X4 FX4 -----
I want to raise the front end about an inch to level her out ----
Going to use the torsion bar bolts......
NOW --- does the truck need to be jacked up off the ground in the front before I twist the bolts?
Any other helpful suggestions?
Where should I take my before and after height measurements from to be sure both sides are even?

This is what I did.
I have an '01 Screw and did mine a few months ago. I have access to a lift on base and used it. You don't have to, but it will be hell to lift almost 6000 pounds by turning a wrench, I'd get the weight off the tires. Anyway, I measured the fender lip edge to the bottom inside lip of the rim, mine was 32". Then I would crank the bolts, drop the truck, don't forget to move it a few feet to get the tires/suspension to settle, then measure the front in the same spot. Took a few times to get it perfect, but I was done in under an hour, now I'm 32" all around. There is a complete procedure go-by with pictures on here somewhere.
