new to ford (need advice)

i just bought a f150 supercrew 04 model lariat. color is two toned white tan on bottom and this truck is loaded with everything it is all leather, sunroof, power sliding rear window, 6 disc cd changer driver info center, and lots other things. my first question is did i get a descent deal it has 26,300 miles on it still in warranty and also give me the ford certified 6 year 75000 mile power train warranty and this truck is extremely clean except for about 3 small nicks in the paint and i gave $26,500.00 for it. now question 2 after putting about 2 hundred miles on it already i have noticed what seemed to a be a delay in throttle response or poor throttle response can any one tell me if this is a problem with this model truck and also are their any other things i need to look out for or listen for, i'm a new to ford i traded in a gmc 4x4 for this cause i needed more room and the ford is also 4x4 also any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Throttle response is poor in these trucks and there have been different things to help with this. Some people have gone back to the dealer and had the PCM re-flashed. Most people have been getting a tuner to help with this. Check out the tuner, chips, and programming forum and do a search in that forum. There is a ton of information for you to read. Most people have the X-Cal2 programmer or the Edge. I have the X-Cal1 (upgrading to X-Cal2) with tuning done by Troyer Performance. I am very happy using Troyer Performance.

SWEET TRUCK!!! Sounds like a decent buy!!!
This is definitely the right place for you. Almost anything you need to know about your truck can be found by searching the forums and if you can't find it.. you can ask!!

I've had problems with Chevy's...I hate getting called by friends in the middle of the night to come pull them out of the mud..
