Miles per full tank

I've got a 2001 SCrew and was just wondering what everyone else was getting to a full tank on average. I get usually around 300mi to a full tank (when the light comes on) if I'm easy around town and drive a fair amount of hwy miles. Was just wondering if this is about right for a truck of this year with 87xxx mi on it.

I usually get between 320 and 350 miles per tank. I drive about 75% in town and 25% highway.

I get between 320 to 330 a tank before the light comes on. Mostly highway driving with some traffic and I've got a heavy foot

I just got 249 when the light came on. Remote start with lots of idleing to warm up, heavy 285/70R17 tires, and an agressive right foot.

I can nearly always get 350+ before the light comes on, with a mix of town and highway driving. All time best was 457 miles on a long highway trip.

Have you corrected your speedometer for the tires?

Mileage

I go about 320 a tank, light comes on around 340 in a 2WD 03 Supercrew. I run the roads in Houston daily, so it is a combination of highway and byway. Averaging 15-16 mpg.

If momma lets me, I am wanting go with e-fans, and an intake. We shall see.

On the highway I get around 475 miles per tank at the low fuel point. I've got the 30 gallon tank and the low fuel comes on and I can put in about 25 gallons of gas. 2004 4x4 4.6L screw.

2001 Screw 4.6 4x4; I get about 320 per tank when I am running around town. That's when the light comes on. On highway trips, I get about 380 before the light comes on..... as long as I use the cruise. I have futura adventurer tires on it, so it's setup for the hardball.

Low Fuel light usually comes on around 390 miles on the SuperCrew (2005 FX4, 5.4L, 30 gallon tank). Takes about 27 gallons to fill up the tank. So, I guess I could probably go 430 miles or so before running her dry.

Of course, depends on the time of year. Mileage always goes down the drain in the winter.

fuel milage

to answer a question about how to get higher fuel milage.
i know this won't be a popular suggestion but i have had great success getting high (comparatively) fuel milage by keeping the rpm's under 2k. in my truck that means not punching to merge into traffic, and keeping speeds under 70mph. with that i manage about 315-325 per tank. i own a 2003 lariat supercrew with a 5.4. i'm sure i could do even better if i didn't use the climate control system.
