I know that ford has two or three different options for extended warranties, but can someone who bought the most coverage available, I think it is called "Gold", tell me approx how much it added to the cost of an 04-06 SCrew 4x2 or 4x4 Lariat or FX4? I am interested in the 100,000 mile or more with the most equipment coverage possible. I just want to know how much to plan to add to the price on an ordered 06 SCrew to get the best extended warranty possible. I keep my vehicles for 10-15 years, and so the extended warranty is worth it for me. And I assume that in the event that I did sell the truck before the extended warranty ran out, is it transferable to the new owner?

I've got a 6 year/75K mile (I think) PremiumCare Ford ESP warranty on my truck, it was about $1300 IIRC.

 

Take a look at Warranty Direct. For my 02 Screw in 2004 at 34509 miles I got 5 more years out to 100,000 miles Premium Care for $1200. Never know about our Spark Plugs on pre 03 5.4 engines.
