Man, these things are awesome! I put them on a while ago and couldnt be happier. I also installed an overide switch to shut them off if I didnt want to use them or when off road.

*Heres another video clip if you cant get the above one to work for ya:

(FYI-I paid about $1050 for them uninstalled. They are the finest quality hardware, materials, fit & finish of any aftermarket product I have seen in a long time.)

over $1k for running boards? Power or not, that's ridiculous.

Yeah, I hear ya and that's what I was thinking at first. However, if you get outside the box and really look at what your getting, they are certainly a horse of a different color than your standard plastic OEM board or chrome bar.

I have a S-Crew with westin bars and I love them. My wife is 5'2 and NEEDS them.

I'm not pushing any brand but if you live in an area that gets any kind of snow at all (or like to play in the mud) go with bars as opposed to steps. The open bars allow slush and salt to fall off and steps let all that crap build up.

Talking Stock Running Boards

Mine came stock on my 2002 FX4, but they ended up hanging a little to low while rock climbing. Since this happened I have removed them.

I purchased the Predator's by Smittybilt. Looked good in the add, but when I got them, they did not fit! They were specific for the F-150 Supercrew. Returning them to the retailer has been a 3 month ordeal. I got them back, but my CC has yet to be refunded.

They will most likely be coming off as soon as my mom gets her new car (then she won't have to get into my truck anymore). I'll keep you posted. Should be a few weeks though.
