Moonroof Trouble

Moonroof Trouble
I posted this earlier in a different forum, but now decided to ask the SuperCrew folks:
Yesterday I had the moonroof open in my 2002 Supercrew. When I went to close it, it wouldn't. Then I noticed that it was retracted farther back into the roof than I had ever notice before. The glass and the shade is completely behind the roof opening. Is there a stop or a track that the rollers went beyond? Anyone ever had this problem and have a resolution? Does the Premium Care warranty cover it?

Unfortunately this is a fairly common problem with the early moonroofs. I have a 2001 and this is why I never open mine. The dealer fix out of warranty is very expensive. Several hundred dollars.
Seems to me that about a year or so ago someone posted the procedure to fix this yourself. Couldn't find it. Hopefully they will respond again.
