I just noticed the strangest thing with my 05 Screw and was wondering if any of you have had something similar occur. As of late it has been very warm here in the Dallas area, and just yesterday I noticed that my tailgate on my Screw now has two dimples located in the exact same place on opposite sides of my tailgate. I have not hit anythin in the rear, nor have I been hit in the gate, and I also contend that If I were hit in the gate, it could not be done so with such accuracy.

The two dimples ( no paint damage) appear about 2 inches down, and in, on each side of the gate. There are screws locate din the same position on the inside of the gate, but I do not see how these would cause the gate to buckle like this.

I plan on taking this to my dealer pronto, but was wondering if any of you had seen this same anomaly with your truck.

there isnt a lot of clearance between the bumper and the tailgate face if it is in the down posiiton. Is it possible you left something on the bumper and lowered the tailgate?
