Keyless Entry Pad Not Working

Hey all,

My keyless entry pad has been working on and off since January (well, I havent really used it much since then really...) Anyways, I've been attempting to use it for the past few weeks and the locking function (pressing the right two buttons) works fine. However, when I enter in my code, the interior lights light up, but it doesn't unlock.

Any guesses as to why this is happening, and how it can be fixed (besides going to the dealer)?

Thanks

mine does the exact thing. the next time i go in i'm going to mention it to the service department. out of 10 tries i'm lucky if it works once. it's a good thing i don't lock my keys in it too often,it would take me hours to get in.

There was an issue with water intrusion into some of the keyless entry keypads. The newer keypads had a fix for this.

I had the same thing happen to me. Try to use the code and doors will not unlock...

Is there a fix for our year? I use my keypad all the time and if it went out all of a sudden I'd be in bad way.

I had one replaced for the same reason. Luckily under warranty.

Well... I guess I'll run it down to the dealer then. Its not too far from my work, and they need to fix my starter too.

...Its gonna be going to the dealer everytime I work because they never find anything wrong when I take it in for the starter....

...bastards.

At least the warranty is still good.

Thanks all,

Justin
