Track times

This past weekend i took my truck out to the track and they werent charging any extra from the admission to run so i ran my truck twice. i got a 16.84 and my second run i got a 16.59.

Ive go the 04 screw lariat and only mods are flowmaster dual exaust and a K&N filter.

is this decent times? ive seen numbers on this sight but not for ne screws only lightnings and single cabs. has anyone else taken theirs to the track ?

Yes, I've taken my 2001 Supercrew 4x4 to the track; both the 1/8th and 1/4 mile. My best time at the 1/4 mile was 14.2; 1/8 mile was 9.1. Best 60' time was 1.97 sec. on original Goodyear Wrangler RT/S tires. I do have a few modifications more than you. Last night I took it out for a test run; just replaced the idler arm and new Firestone Indy 500 tires all around - shut it down at 135 mph. Best all around truck I could every purchase!

Brucescrew - sorry to get off the subject, but how did you like the Kumho tires that you have listed in your signature. I will be due for tires soon and were considering those.

LightningCrew,

I liked the Kumhos alot; excellent handling for summer driving - I would recommend then

I did switch over to the Firestone Firehawks Indy 500; they are better performing tire on snow and ice, something we see alot of in Western NY.

Good luck!
