1. Because in Canada it has a nasty habit of snowing one in a while, and its nice to have the traction.
2. I don't plan on taking my new truck off road so I don't need all the groud clearence.

AwD cars are performance orintated, thier not the same as part time 4x4, lowerd or lifted, From a handeling standpoint, lowering a 4x4 sounds counter perductive due to the differance in 2wd and 4wd front suspensions, extra whieght, A lowerd 4x4 stuck pushing snow in a Canadian would be fun to see...
Yes, it's your truck and you can do what you want, Ilogical as it sound's, Good luck, I would put a air suspension under your truck, lower/rise to your hearts content.

F150soon, yes they are Bell Tech Nitro Drop shocks. #7222 on the front and #7535 on the rear.

lowered my 4x4 supercrew 4/2 and with my clearance never changed with my winter tires on the diff centre is still lowest point
