Talking Price 2005 Supercrew FX4

Can anyone give me an idea what a reasonable price is on an F150 Supercrew FX4 4x4?

Pay only invoice price or slightly above, should be about 30-31k with most all the bells and whistles.

I think it all depends if you are buying one off the lot or a factory order. You have more leverage with a truck on the lot because the dealer wants to get rid of it. You can go to www.fordvehicles.com and build and price one the way you want it and that will give you a ballpark price. Invoice for the base model is $31,070. I just factory ordered an FX4 supercrew lastweek and paid almost exactly what the price is on the website +8.75% New York sales tax then minus 3000 in rebates...

Go to Fords website and build one like you want. It will give you the invoice price and MSRP. At the most, you should pay invoice price minus the current rebates. For example, if you build a truck that has a MSRP of $35,000 and the invoice is $30,000 and there is currently $2000 cash back from Ford, you should pay no more than $28,000.

Mine stickered about 38000.00 and I got it for around 32000.00 after 2500.00 rebate and D plan before dealer installed options.

Good Luck

Congrats on your purchase!

How were you able to get it so far down off of MSRP?

Walked into the dealer traded in my 2003 Supercrew lariat 19000 miles. Trade in value 19600. Had a pre-approved check for 10000. Offered it to them and just wouldnt budge. Finally after sitting there for 2 hours they sold it to me. Persistence paid off.
