newbie here

wasn't sure where this post should have gone, but figured I'd post it here since I own a screw. I have a 01 screw, with the offroad package, got it back in June of 04. I traded in my ranger that had a 3"b/l and 33" muds(sweet truck) because I needed something with more power.

I've probably had more problems with this truck then any other truck/car I've owned, although I still do enjoy this truck. A lot of the problems however were basic maitance issues, so I can't be too upset about it.

I have no plans on lifting it at this moment, however after seeing some of the pics of them lifted I'm having second thoughts. However I probably won't as I'd like to get a F250/F350 in a couple years.

problems?

zimmy,
Welcome to the site! Always good have another S-crew owner! What kind of maintenance proplems are you having?
I bet you that you can find answers to most, if not all, of your problems here. There's a lot of knowledge on these forums. They've helped me a bunch.
Again, welcome.

let's see, I had a cyclinder misfire, then had a bunch of other maintance done at that time(plugs, wires etc.) that bill was around 900 bucks

couple months later
had to replace the exhaust manifold due to a leak, that bill was a couple hundred

couple weeks later
had to replace the idler arm, and all 4 shocks, that bill was around 250.

My truck is burning oil as well.
