Bed Liner

Bed Rug or Spray in?

What are your preferences?

I have a roll top tonneau and have had a rhino liner in a f250 previously. But I am seriously considering the bed rug this time around.

Ratso,

I am facing the same dilemma with the ’05 F-150 I am picking up next week. My S-10 has Line-X in the bed and I have to say that it has held up very well for the past five years. With the Ford, I am putting on a K-Cover folding tonneau. Some have recommended waiting with any liner until you see how you are going to use the truck. I am also considering a bed mat.

I vote Bed Rug!!! It's padded, easy on the knees! Things don't slide as much. I used to think spray was the way to go! ... but no more ...

The Bedrug is my favorite choice for light to moderate duty.

I found the bed rug brand delivered for $280. Seems pretty fair.

My brother in law did a herculiner is his Ranger and it turned out really well. I can do the backof my SCrew for less than $110 with that.

SO,...not that I am a penny pincher, but I still have to ask the question. Is the bed rug worth double. A Rhino liner is $400 locally, but for good reason. They are the best spray in you can get IMO.

Go with a spray in. You never have to worry about scratches. I would reccommend the Line-X spray-in liner, they have a better warranty and have more locations than Rhino.

I recommend the spray in as well, althought as it was stated previously, its all in how you will use your bed. Good luck.

I have the Bedrug and the family loves it. Kids and wife love hanging out back there if we are camping or tailgating. The padding is great. I also carry alot of stuff in the back of the truck, ie. golf clubs, bins and such - you don't have to worry about things sliding or making noise. Also very durable, can be vaccumed or sprayed out.

I got mine of Ebay for just under $300 including shipping. Took the wife and I about 2 1/2 hours to install, but we were very **** about getting it fit right. My next truck will have one for sure.

Bedrug! You can still haul anything you want, whenever you want, but it's nice having a cushioned bed for carrying stuff you don't want banged around.

SL

P.S. Doesn't that Chickenears guy sell them cheap?

Advanced Auto Parts. We have a local store, but I searched the price at their on-line site.
