Handling has definitely improved - I can take most curves at 15-20 mph faster than before. Truck seems a little faster on the expressway, guess b/c I am not so high up now. Bumps are more noticable, but I think part of that is b/c the suspension components are new. After 130K miles, I was still riding on my original factory shocks, so it was a big change going to the new performance shocks. But I have noticed after a few weeks that everything is starting to loosen up a little and the ride has not been as harsh.

I do not in any way regret lowering the truck (at least until I try and tow with it )
