Has anyone here had any luck with getting a overhead dvd system. I have a FX4 supercrew with the rail system. I call around to the dealers local here in St. louis. 90% act like there stupid. and the one that come through says oh, yeah sure for 1,999.00 we can do it.. Of course I had to pull out the f-150 acc. book and say well it's 1200.00 here whats up with your price.
Any help on a after market or experience with this would be great.

 

My dealer installed a Ford unit but used an outside contractor to do it. Cost was $1,275.

If I had it to do over again I think I would go with an aftermarket unit. I think some people have had better looking installations done (monitors in headsets, etc.) for about the same price, and I'll bet that any semi-custom installer could make good use of the rail system if you wanted.
