I have a question regarding my warranty. I bought my Screw in March of 2004. The truck was manufactured in March of 2002. How do I know when my warranty actually expires? I figure I have at least until March but then again I don't know when the first owner took possession of the vehicle (I am the second owner). Right now I am at 30K miles and drive only about 1K miles a month. Would the dealer be able to tell by my VIN number? Thanks.

 

From the date put into service - not the date manufactured.

Ford will have the date on record I'm sure

 

The original standard warranty is 3/36K. The clock starts ticking when the truck is bought. Any local dealer should be able to tell you when your warranty is up. 01 XLT SPORT had some good info. and an extended warranty link in a thread I found by using " standard warranty " as the search topic.
