To Trade or not to trade

I've got one of the first 2001 Supercrew Lariats that hit town back in 2000 - It's got 98000 trouble free miles - and I love it.

Now the local dealer is selling new Supercrew Lariats for 27500, and I'm wondering if I should buy me a new one. He doesn't have the King Ranch and that is what I really want.

What to do... .. I know I need to have some maintenance done - some new tires and get the 100k spark plugs changed - that will set me back about 900.00.

Then again - New tags would probably be about the same price.

What would a 2005 king ranch set me back? Anyone bought one?

Do it.... I traded my 2001 Supercrew that I thought I would keep forever in on a 2004 4x4 Supercrew a few months ago. Best damn move I ever made, except of course for marrying my wife...
The 04's and 05's are on another level over the 01's to 03's.
The ride alone is was enough to sell me..

Yep I agree too.

Trade it !!!

I traded my 2001 KR for a 2005 KR. Thought I'd NEVER get rid of my 2001. But the 2005 is one step above.
Very glad I traded.

You won't be sorry

I had a 95 PowerStroke, and loved it.

I borrowed my dad's 2002 xlt lariat Screw with the FX4 and all leather for a multi state trip back in February, and loved it more. I loved it so much, I went looking for one for me.

I was talked into driving a 2004 FX4. The sticker price was $37,305. They stopped dealing at $29,500. They offered me $5,500 for my PStroke. After the taxes and plates, and prep/handling crap, the out the door price was $27,793. I bought the 2004 FX4.

Forgot all about the other two trucks. The King Ranch would probably make me forget my name. You won't regret it.

You guys stop all this nonsense talk!!! You might make me do something I will regret(or not).

Beautiful truck RP. I thought about you when I saw the Superduty PS KR in the chestnut color. I figured that is what you would get next. Time for more mods.

Talking

Trade that puppy. I traded the '99 Isuzu Trooper - fully loaded with a 5' moonroof that I loved - on an '04 Aspen Green / Tan 4x4 Lariat 2 months ago. You won't be sorry. And if you can still find an '04 Lariat you can steal it.

Mine .... MSRP 41,400. Paid 30,300 + TTL and the dealer added bug shield, moonroof wind deflector, Westin side steps, Bulldog spray liner, and 35% tint at no charge. Only difference from a KR is the Castano leather. And they gave me KBB value for the Isuzu.

Love my truck.

Not trading

After reading all of this VIBE stuff - and then reading the two TSB's, I ain't trading.

My 2001 rides like a Big Fat Lincoln - smooth as silk. So, maybe I'll just take your advice and hang onto this one and shoot for 200k.
