Question Rear slider window rubber seal??

All,

Looks like the seal on my rear sliding portion of the window has become undone..... found it on the seat! (This fits on the side opposite of the latch mech.) It looks like it has a "U"channel that fits over the glass, but then it doesn't seal against the fixed portion....

How or what is this bugger supposed to attach/look like when attached????????

I need to glue it back on.....as it's gettin' wet here now...... and when I wash the truck I gots ta be carefull or I'll hose down the rear seat......

Any pic's or info would be appreciated....

Thanks,
Steve

You have a picture of it handy?

It sounds like you may be missing the flexible rubber piece that "rides" against the glass. Look around for a flimsy piece of rubber. Maybe it fell behind your seat??

Yes, I do have the flexible piece of rubber w/strip. I just need to figure out how it goes back on????

If I put the "U" over the glass, I still get a gap..... small, but a gap.... so, trying to figure out it indeed that is correct..... or not.....

Thanks,
Steve
