Might want to check the 3rd brake light. A while back over on the 2004-5 forum there was some discussion about the gasket being bad.

Thanks for all the help,,im having a problem making my dealer believe its the 3rd brake lite,,they insist on taking out the back window again to reseal it,,,and my headliner is getting soaked everytime it rains now and water runs down through the seat belt opening at the top of the back seat and loads up under the seat,,so should I ask for the headliner and back seat and carpet to be replaced also ,,Im sure these items wont hold up long on the truck due to the water and again thanks for all your help Carl

Here is a thread on the 2004/5 message board about the same topic.

Also have them checkout the wiring that goes across the back of the cab behind the rear seat on the floor. On my 01 Screw, the thermometer/Compass head console and the passenger vanity light and some map lights all get power form those wires.

When I bought my Screw last march, all of these were not working, and I traced the problem back to a severely corroded wire junction right behind the rear passenger side seat. I suspect that the original owner might have had a leak in the same area that damaged the wiring.
