Angry Too High

2004 Super Crew... I want to LOWER the rear only about 3"-4". Idiots in my area say they don't have "kits" and say they don't make them for 2004 SC. And then they talk pinion angle, etc., BS. Any ideas or sources?

I used the Ground Force shackles to lower the back end of my 2004 Screw. It also comes with a wedge to correct pinion angle if you are worried about the angle. There are pics in my gallery in my signature.

I'ts nice to have a "High" truck but sometimes it is just darn impractical.

- When my Very pregnant wife tried to clime aboard

- When my 5 year old son has to clime aboard

- When I hitch my travel trailer to my truck, I have to set my adjustable block hitch to the lowest possible hight setting and my TT still dosen't sit perfectly level.

- When I want to lift my 165lb Generator in the back of the truck, every single inch counts

- I just built my house and had the garage doors put in to accomodate a high truck, but many other doors, my truck won't fit, and my truck is just stock.

Now when I go out in the backwoods, I like the extra hight but I'm still limited to the Differentials and T-Case for clearance.

It seems that Ford and Dodge have this "Who can make the Highest truck" competition going on. GM seems to be smartly sitting this one out on the sidelines

I did not see in the post, but is your truck 2x4 or 4x4? Mine is 4x4 and is too high. There seems to be factory blocks between the sprint and axle. The local Ford dealer advised against taking them out, but I'm still thinking about it.

As a side note: The KYB Monomax shocks I put on my truck had a note that they could be used in a lowered application but not lifted.
