running power wire to amp under rear seat?

2001 S'crew...

I've been through dozens of threads about subwoofer and amp installations but none of them had much to say about getting the wires from the head to under the passenger side rear seat. I assume there is a way to remove trim along the passenger side doors and run the wires there. Do I just grab'em and pull? Is there a trick to it? Is there a better idea?

I've replaced door speakers so I appreciate instructions on where to yank without breaking stuff.

For anyone that cares...
head unit replaced with cheap Sony...done
door speakers replaced with cheap Sony 5x7s...done

Still need to build sub-box with 10" JBL to go under rear seat driver side and install 4 channel Rat-Shack amp to power it. I already have the amp and sub....I don't think I can do better for free.

Thanks,

Don

Cool

Just grab the plastic sill plate on one end and pull upward. It should pop out and then you can work your way down to the other end.

Just be careful when you put it back in place - it is easy to bend the little plastic tabs the wrong way...

Yep. the plastic "Diamond plated" covers pry up. Be gentle and careful as it is just plastic. There is a river of wires in a taped loom. I would suggest running outside of the loom.
